Powerball is shaking things up to give you even more opportunities. With our new and improved divisional prize structure, you'll have even more chances to take home significant prizes and larger jackpots. We're thrilled to announce that alongside these changes, the Powerball Prize Pool Distribution for Divisions 2 through 9 will be modified to ensure that you're getting the most out of every game.
To make all of these amazing changes possible, we're making a small adjustment to the cost to play Powerball. Don't worry, it's only a small increase from $1.10 to $1.20 per game. With this increase, we can bring you even more fantastic prizes, bigger jackpots, and more thrilling games.
The cost to play Powerball will increase from $1.10 to $1.20 per game.

When are the Powerball changes happening?
The new pricing will come into effect from Friday, 19 May 2023. The first draw with the adjusted divisional prize structure will be drawn on Thursday, 25 May 2023 (Draw 1410).
Are the chances of winning changing for any game?
No. There will be no changes to the chances of winning any prize, including the top prizes for any of the games.
Can I keep my favourite numbers?
Yes, you can! There will be no changes made to the way you play your Favourite Numbers.
Can I still buy Advance Play or Multiweek tickets?
From Thursday 16 March 2023 to Thursday 19 May 2023, some of your usual Advance Play and Multiweek tickets will be temporarily unavailable.
