A northern suburbs mother has a clairvoyant to thank for her million-dollar OZ Lotto win.
The 56-year old said she bought Lotto tickets “every now and then” but after she was told she would win from the psychic a little over a year ago, she has since bought a ticket every week.
The OZ Lotto 12-game Slikpik turned into a $1.25 million windfall.
“I was buying this week’s Powerball ticket and thought I’d just check my OZ Lotto numbers at the same time and couldn’t believe it,” the winner said.
“I was calm, but it didn’t seem real – I thought I’d imagined it.
“I then, very shyly, called Lotterywest in the morning and they verified it for me.”
WA’s latest Division One win has contributed to a fast-growing tally of 60 this calendar year who have shared in more than $74 million worth of prizes.
